RESTORATION PROJECT
Sometimes photo restoration takes creativity. These photos were extremely faded and even a high quality scan did not bring out the detail in the baby girl's clothing. It was lost! The client had given me the baby clothes to use as reference, so I found a doll about the baby's size, dressed it up, photographed it, and with the magic of photoshop I was able to recreate the baby girl's outfit in the photo. The coloring was difficult to restore, but she wanted them displayed with the black & white baby photos of her and her husband so we restored them in black & white. The result was a beautiful grouping of baby photos printed on metal.
